In addition to their role as a documentation service the Jean Piaget Archives organise several scientific activities.
- A weekly interdisciplinary seminar on a theme related to Piaget brings together specialists from several scientific fields. This seminar is organised every year during the summer semester.

- An advanced course with lecturers of international repute on a current subject in relation with Piaget’s theory is followed by researchers and students from all over the world. The next advanced course will take place in 2008.
